Preparation and Execution

Dear Students September 2005

With the autumn season approaching the air is beginning to turn cool and fresh and the skies are so blue. Autumn is traditionally the season of action. Many communities have festivals and cultural events. School has begun and sporting events at every level have kicked off. As Tae Kwon Do students our season of action also begins. I want to remind my students of one of our schools favorite mottos; start good and finish strong. Fifty prominent businessmen were asked the following question. What is the most important ingredient for a successful business? To my surprise the answer was not money, talent or environment but overwhelmingly perseverance. These people knew that to become successful, consistency of action and a never give up attitude were the most important qualities that one can possess for success. This response should be an inspiration to all my students as we begin the following schedule.
