Karate Version

-
Steps 1-3 - From double underhooked, pinch tight double overhooks and frame against the hips. As you are driven back, LH gets a lapel grip from the overhook and extends them away into a bottomfist strike w. RH. Drive forward and frame away their head with RH, then LH bottomfist to their head.
-
Steps 4-7 - They collar tie, so LH inside post and drop base to prevent getting pulled of balance. Punch and backfist into a trapping top control. Repeat. The second time, when they resist the trap, double punch to the body.
-
Steps 8-9 - Collar tie to crescent kick, and elbow strike to collar tie as you come down.
-
Steps 10-13 - Groin throw. They defend by grabbing your RH wrist. Come over top and yank back the RH as the LH strikes down at their arm to clear the grabbing hand. Groin throw a second time. This time they defend by shooting hips back and clearing the LH framing arm, pulling it down. So you pull back the RH and feint a bottomfist the groin, then pull the LH high and RH elbow to their chin.
-
Steps 14-17 - Opponent attempts to duck under to your R side and take the back. As they try to get a seatbelt, control the wrists with dorsal grip, extend them away, rotate into them, and step into a LH bicep control and RH forearm strike (knifehand). They attempt to drive forward so you switch sides as you step back into a LH frame and RH overhook.
-
Steps 18-22 - RH grabs their underhook sleeve at the elbow and LH grabs their wrist as you arm drag them across. RH pulls the arm further across then side kicks the opponent’s exposed ribs, stepping down into a Muay Thai dump sweep. Grab the opponent by the back of the shoulders and pull them backwards to yank them down. When they don’t fall, turn and push them away, grab the back of their collar with both hands and yank them backwards again in a throw.
-
Steps 23-26 - Trap their RH with your LH and pull it down, then as they resist, pull it back up and across, before doing a front kick under their arm to their chin. Stepping down, pull their RH back with your LH as your RH punches to the body. Opponent attempts a LH hook, so your RH blocks on the bicep. Double lapel grip and turn to Tai Otoshi.
-
Steps 27-End - LH pulls down their LH as RH overpunches to the inside, so tricep comes across their chin line. Rotate around and throw. If they manage to defend, advance forward to LH strike to neck and RH arm control. Cross collar choke to finish.
