We have taken the canon lightsaber forms and developed a series of techniques for basic attack and counters using Japanese katana, fencing, military historical saber, Silat two weapon fighting, and HEMA.  Each class begins by walking through some techniques to warm up.  But most of the class is dueling.  At the end, we also often have large melees or special scenario fights like the "high ground " duel where both people have to balance on an unsteady object while dueling.  We also sometimes engage in trick work and we've had some great guest instructors along the way,
