Kukkiwon Version

Bunseog

Bunseog

  • Step 1 - Opponent Plum Clinches.  Frame away their chin.

  • Steps 2-4 - Trap with back hand and step forward into knifehand / forearm strike to the neck designed to drive them back off balance.  As they back up from the attack, feint low and kick high with a rear leg side kick.  Opponent defends by getting a high guard.  Step down and use RH to pull down their rear guard hand to open up the LH punch.   LH grabs their lead guard hand and pulls it to chamber, over their other arm.  RH steps in and does a cross arm throw by raising the lower hand over the top.

  • Steps 6-9 - Advance into a groin strike bottomfist.  Open hand strike the throat, emphasizing raising the chin, then front kick under the hand to the chin.  Trap their defending hand and pull it down to set up next attack.

  • Steps 10-12 - As you front kick them in the face, their head comes back.  Scoop their elbow and pull it across, then use the LH to push the elbow to the ground in an elbow drop throw.  With opponent on the ground, defend against the up kick.   Version 1 -  Cross grip on the ankles to control the feet like a bullfighter pass.  Rotate around to a knee on face position while holding control of the pant legs.  Front kick, then do same takedown.  Version 2 -  Instead of instead of rotating around you pull the legs up to stack to control.

  • Steps 13-19 - Collar tie, and hold the collar tie as you punch to their head.  Pinning their head between the fist and the hand, pull their head in and side kick to their hips to break their balance forward.  Push their head down and grab the back of their collar.  Pull their head back as you bottomfist them (inside out).  Step forward and push their head low again with LH then come forward and elbow strike them in the head.

  • Step 20 - Murder choke prayer escape, then trap with double overhooks.

  • Step 21 - Grabbed from behind.  Rotate into knifehand strike.  Trap and pull down guard to open them up for the follow up knifehand.  Repeat.  Finish with throat strike.  Opponent attempts to match with one handed choke.  Rotate and push them away.
